Video conferencing with Father Christmas - 8th December 2017
This morning, Father Christmas took the time to video conference with our Early Years children, taking time out at this very busy time of the year! Father Christmas wished them luck with their Nativity and knew that Jingle Bells was their favourite song. He told them about where he lived, the reindeer and about the toys being made in his factory. They asked questions like:
Do you have a car? He said he doesn't need one because of the reindeer. What do you do in the summer? He works getting ready for Christmas.
What is your favourite biscuit? He told them that he really loved sprouts but hoped they'd leave him some biscuits out on Christmas Eve.
Exciting presents - 31st October 2017
Our youngest pupils had a very exciting start to the day when they noticed that there were lots of presents hidden around our Early Years Unit. They were very keen to find them and then wrote lists to show what might be inside the wrapping paper.
Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? - 19th October 2017
Our Early Years pupils put on a brilliant performance for their parents this morning. They have learned their own innovated version of the story 'Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?' and made us all very proud!
Loving the rain - 29th September 2017
It may have been a wet day but that doesn't stop children in our Early Years Unit from going outside and they had great fun today making coloured water and moving the water around using pipettes.
Reception Chicks - 10th May 2017
The children in Penguin and Puffin classes enjoyed finding out about life cycles and were delighted when they came into school today to find that the eggs that they have been looking after had hatched.
There are nine chicks in total and the children have come up with some very creative names: Ding-Dong, Fluffy, Chickety-Chick, Cuddles, Eadie, Diamonds, Lee-Lee, Junior and…. Spider-Man!
