Primary School

Southfield remembers

This week children throughout the school have been decorating individual stones with poppy designs ready for today's remembrance service. Children have been thinking about people in their own lives who have been involved in wars and showing the values of gratitude and unity. This morning we were joined by James from Luton Sixth Form College who played the Last Post on his trumpet, and also Corporal Thomas from the army as the whole school came together to show respect during our minutes silence. We have put together a video of some of the photos from the service on our gallery page.
