Paradise Wildlife Park - 2nd March 2020
This half term, children in Key Stage 1 are reading the story, Meerkat Mail, so to start their learning they went along to Paradise Wildlife Park to see some real meerkats (as well as lots of other animals!) The children had a brilliant experience and it has been lovely to hear so many positive comments about the children's behaviour.
Toy Making - 14th February 2020
Children in Key Stage 1 rounded off this half term's learning with a Design and Technology Fantastic Finish. During the day they designed and made toys using Forkie from Toy Story 4 as their inspiration.
Net Wall Festival - 29th January 2020
Some of our Key Stage 1 children enjoyed taking part in a Net Wall Festival at Inspire in Stopsley this morning!
Old Toys - 28th January 2020
Staff in school have been sharing toys from their own childhoods with the children in Key Stage 1 as part of this half term's topic.
Reading Buddies - 20th January 2020
Our Year 6 children are enjoying the responsibility of supporting younger children as Reading Buddies.
A Letter from the Queen - 7th January 2020
Children in Kingfisher class were delighted to receive a letter from the Queen in the post today. During the Autumn term, the children were learning about Colossal Castles and wanted to find out more so wrote letters to the Queen and were very pleased to get a reply!

A Visitor from the North Pole - 18th December 2019
Wow! A real elf came into school today straight from the North Pole! She was very excited to meet our Early Years and Key Stage 1 children and even gave them all a present before she left. Our own school elves also enjoyed getting the chance to catch up with what's been going on while they've been away.
Everyone Loves a Baby - 13th December 2019
Our Key Stage 1 children performed brilliantly again this morning - Everyone Loves a Baby! Well done everyone for getting us into the Christmas spirit!
Visit to Warwick Castle - 10th December 2019
Children in Years 1 and 2 enjoyed a fantastic visit to Warwick Castle today as part of their learning about Colossal Castles! They found out about knights, kings and queens - one them told us their teacher that they now want to be princess when they grow up.
Medieval Wow Day - 7th November 2019
Key Stage 1 have had a fabulous Medieval Wow Day today as they begin their Colossal Castles learning. Thank you to all of the parents who supported with costumes and came along to our banquet this afternoon.
Sportshall Athletics - 6th November 2019
Well done to our Key Stage 1 sports team who worked brilliantly together at this afternoon's Sports Hall Athletics competition at Inspire in Stopsley.
Billy the Brave Knight - 29th October 2019
This half term we will be learning all about castles and knights. Our Talk for Writing story is Billy the Brave Knight and we were very excited when he came along and visited us to tell us all about his many adventures!
Fruity Fantastic Finish - 16th October 2019
To round off our learning for this half term, we invited our parents into school to help us make lots of fruity snacks.
Our Local Area - 10th October 2019
As part of our Geography work, we have been out and about looking at the local area. We learned a lot and saw a lot, and even found time to have a quick play at the park!
Key Stage 1 Search for Missing Penguin - 5th September 2019
Our Year 1 and 2 children have been reading and following clues that they've found around the school helping them to find a penguin that has escaped from Whipsnade Zoo!
