E-Safety Conference - 6th February 2019
A group of children from Year 6 took part in an E-Safety Conference which was organised by the West Area Partnership. The conference was hosted by Chantry Primary Academy, and the children learned about staying safe online, how to keep devices secure, and keeping safe when gaming as well as personal wellbeing when using social media. Our children were brilliant ambassadors for the school and we are now looking forward to learning more when they present their learning in one of our assemblies. Parents were also invited to pop along to the Lewsey Learning Centre to learn more about keeping children safe online.
Times Table Competition Finals - 21st June 2018
Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children have been competing with each other in school to see who really knows their times tables ready for this week's competition with schools from across the West Area Partnership. Well done to our Year 3 and 4 team who came third in the competition. Keep practising those times tables everyone!
Key Stage 2 Team Building Event - 18th June 2018
Some very lucky children from Key Stage 2 went to Pirton Hill Primary School today along with children from across the West Area Partnership to take part in a Team Building event. Children learned a range of new skills, made new friends and showed our value of Teamwork. Well done everyone!
EYs/KS1 Team Building - 21st May 2018
Some of our children from Early Years and Key Stage 1 enjoyed a Team Building experience with other schools from across the West Area Partnership at Pirton Hill Primary School today. Mike Harwin from 'Adventures Into' worked with some children from the High Schools from across the partnership, and they in turn led some exciting activities with our youngest children. We are sure that everyone made some new friends while they showed the values of teamwork, friendship and cooperation.
Spelling Bee Final - 7th March 2018
Following class competitions in school and an exciting whole school final, we took a team to take part in a Spelling Bee against other schools in the West Area Partnership today. The children who took part represented the school really well and had to spell some very challenging words as part of the competition. Everyone did really well showing determination, resilience and teamwork. A special congratulations to Ayaan who won a medal.
