Community Harmony - 23rd May 2019

Year 3 have been thinking about how we can show harmony in our community as part of their work on values this half term.

Stewing Fruit - 10th May 2019

The children have been learning about the Stone Age diet as part of this term's topic. One of the things Stone Age people used to eat was stews including stewed meats, vegetables and fruits. Year Three stewed fruits: apples, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries, with honey, over the course of the day- four hours! It was delicious - Miss Pollard even enjoyed a taste!

Visit to the Grove Theatre - 30th April 2019

Year 3 travelled to the Grove Theatre today and we're treated to a fantastic orchestral performance by the amazing Sinfonia Verdi.

Cave Painting - 26th April 2019

To start their Stone Age topic of work, the children in Year 3 have been learning about how the Stone Age people created their art work using their hands and fingers, as well as the types of things they painted, including animals, hunters and symbols.

First Aid Superheroes - 27th March 2019

As part of their Superhero topic, Year 3 have been real-life superheroes this morning, and have been learning First Aid skills for emergencies. They've found out about checking airways, the recovery position and also what to do if someone stops breathing.

Superheroes Day - 11th February 2019

As part of this term's unit of work, our Year 3 have been superheroes today and have been finding out about the qualities of superheroes.

London Zoo visit - 10th October 2018

As part of their Rainforests topic, Year 3 have enjoyed a fantastic visit to London Zoo where they got to see lots of animals who live in the rainforest habitat.
Thank you to everyone who came along to our coffee morning on Thursday 20th September - the children performed brilliantly and staff were able to share what we are covering over the course of the year. You also helped us to raise lots of money for Macmillan Cancer Care!
