He'd come along to collect the 165 shoeboxes the Pioneer Learning Trust families had filled as part of the 'Spread a Little Happiness' scheme. Each shoebox was filled with items to help cheer up families who may need a bit of extra help this festive season.

The pupils (who had all filled their own boxes) helped John load his car and find out just what happens to the boxes next.
