Primary School

Returning to School in January

Following today’s government briefing, I can confirm that primary schools in Luton will be open as normal from next week and, therefore, we look forward to seeing you back at school on Tuesday.

We will continue to work with you to ensure we keep our entire school community - children, staff and parents - as safe as possible in line with our risk assessment and current government guidance.

Before school returns, we have been asked by Luton Council to encourage families who are not showing any coronavirus symptoms to take the rapid lateral flow test before returning. Our closest testing centre is at the Lewsey Community Centre on Landrace Road. Rapid Testing sites are walk-up with no appointment necessary and are open 8am-8pm although parents should note that centres are closed for rapid testing on 1st January 2021. Results from rapid tests should be received within 45 minutes, and positive results should be reported via

We would be very grateful if you could arrange to visit a rapid test centre for your household to help play your part in reducing the spread of the virus.

Thank you for your continued support.
Miss Pollard
